THE CHALLENGE: Explore
As a self-prompted challenge, I wanted to create a branded retail experience that didn’t have to play by any rules. I chose a seasonal initiative from
Converse that lended itself to a totally immersive
VR environment. My goal was to design without regard for the limitations of budget, size, or even physics.

ERX
Into the 1980s, Converse was the shoe of choice for many basketball player. ERX was their ultimate expression of technology and style. In recent years, Converse has re-launched the iconic shoes in contemporary colorways.


AR POP-UP SHOP
As an extension of the VR experience, I created an augmented reality pop-up shop that brings interactive storytelling and shopability to anyone, anywhere.
With technology being the major barrier to entry to fully immersive digital experiences, I created this phone based AR experience as something analogous to a retail takedown that would be a less premium execution but have a broader audience.
