Product Design
Product design is a passion of mine going back to my childhood, sketching cars and strange inventions. Ever since, I've grown to appreciate the hard work and creative thinking that goes into everyday objects.
An object can be a powerful storytelling device. In my free time I enjoy creating objects with stories through their design, or the materials they are made of.

Coffee Table
This is a coffee table that I designed and built using some direct print samples of Nike art on plywood.
The North Face: furniture
As part of the larger retail refresh project for TNF, one of our tasks was to create furniture that supports the overall narrative of the space. The forms were clean and simple to feel like a part of the fixture set, but the cushions were constructed to mimic the Basecamp Duffle, one of the key products highlighted in the store.

Transportation Design
The holy grail of product design (at least in my book) is designing a vehicle. As vehicles continue to become increasingly electric, there will no doubt be a significant paradigm shift in how they are designed.
With compact and modular drivetrains, a car no longer needs to look like a car, it can become almost anything.

Footwear
Though I have no background in footwear design, I've always been facinated with the stories behind innovation and style in shoes.
in retail design, the task is often to take the story of a product and bring it to life. In my spare time ive been experimenting with reverse engineering that process to inspire footwear design with a rich story, to look for the story first, and design a product around it.
